Billy pulled Westwood to a gentle halt. "I'm gonna take ya to a small town just east 'a here. There's a train station there. I'll get ya aboard an east-bound train and that'll take ya someplace safe, far east of here. You'll be okay." He cracked a reassuring half smile, craning back to glance at her.

Elizabeth tears up again. " and what will people think...? I'll be labelled a loose woman...I'll have to become a saloon girl."

[Jackkdaw]

"No, no, no. You'll be fine. Won't be marked as nothin' like that, just a widow. If anything, people will take pity on ya." He explained quickly, raveling the reins in his hand as Westwood stomped an impatient hoof.

Elizabeth has tears rolling down her cheeks. "and I'll never see ya again..."

[Jackkdaw]

Billy turned his head to glance at her. "Naw, naw, I'll come visit." He flashed a half smile at her, wiping a tear stain from her cheek with his thumb.

I do wish you'd stay with me and Bella..." Elizabeth sighs.

[Jackkdaw]

"I know, I know." Billy casually nudged the stallion back into a brisk walk. "But I can't."

[daiseydd]

Elizabeth stares downward. "we would've had it nice...maybe have another baby in a coupla years..."

[Jackkdaw]

Billy's arm flinched a bit at the reins as Elizabeth spoke the last sentence, making Westwood toss his head in annoyance at the sudden jerking of the bit. "Woah- uh- what?" He stammered, ignoring the stallion's annoyed snorts.

I'd like another baby before I die..." she stares downward sadly. "but that's never gonna happen. " the town comes into view
