Billy never replied, keeping his eyes down as Westwood carried them into the tiny wooden town. The nearby whistle of a locomotive made the quarter horse toss his head and let out a shrill whinnie of surprise, but Billy quickly got him under control, cursing aloud in annoyance. After giving the stud a harsh slap on the neck, he pulled up to a halt next to an open box car of a train, smoke billowing from the engine's chimney a good distance away. The box car was near the back of the train. "Welp, here we are." He murmured, hopping down from the saddle to help the two women off the impatient horse.
