Marian slowly walked into the cave, not trying to look suspicious. She lay down on the wall, watching the sunset. Did the dove make it? What if a careless hunter shot it down? What if someone else caught it and they didn't know Derizon? Marian tried to push the thoughts away, and imagined the happy face of her brother and their friends. But what about the dragon? She sang lightly. She raised her voice so the dragon could hear. (Exe I hope you don't mind if I rp the dragon, since you haven't posted in a while) The dragon raised his head, and smiled, hearing the soft music. Marian lifted her flute, wiping some dirt off of it. Marian then played the song. The dragon then lowered his head and fell asleep, tucking in his large wings.

At the sound of a female voice ringing in his ears, Simon slightly turned to see a blonde girl standing nearby. "Oh, hello," he greeted her. "I don't believe we've met." His eyes flickered to the dove, who had slightly calmed down and was now occasionally cooing in an unhappy tone to show its displeasure of being caught by humans. Guilt gnawed at him. "I'm afraid it'll fly off if I release it for a second," he said, the traces of laughter creeping along his words. He studied the girl for a moment, then gestured to the shut door with his free hand. "Are you with the boy?" he asked in a moment of curiosity.

Feared a nodded once in response to his question, "Yes I am, I'm Fereda." She introduced herself, nodding her head in greeting before glancing back down at the dove again.  She brushed a lock of her from her forehead, "May I ask what's so special about a bird?" She asked curiously, her gaze still locked onto the white dove.

Fereda, Simon's mind repeated her name in an attempt to sear it into his memory. The faint fear of forgetting his moments here hung over him, but he mentally waved it away as if it was merely a pesky bird. He wished it was as simple as that. "I'm Simon," he politely returned. At the mention of the dove, he found his eyes swinging towards it again. It blinked at him before tilting its head at him, curiosity sparkling in its eyes. "You may ask," he said, "but I won't answer." He glanced at Derizon's door before adding, "At least not yet."

Best allow Derizon's eyes to fall upon this message for him, Simon thought, before it is shown to anyone else, even if this girl is with him. He felt horrid for eluding Fereda's question, but he had decided it was necessary in case Derizon did choose not to reveal the Diva's note, although he doubted that would happen. Fereda will eventually find out, he told himself, after he - of course - allows her to read the message once he himself has.

At least Simon now knew the boy's name without having to ask him.

Both the crow and the boy's attention now moved to the door in unison. Derizon, stealing a glance from the side of his eye, could see how the black bird seemed to bristle it's feathers, red eyes gleaming dangerously as it stared through the door, as if knowing what was on the other side. It's grey claws shifted nervously, talons fixing themselves on the windowsill harder. Narrowing his eyes lighter, he stood and walked over to the door, dragging the sword along with him. He opened it a silver, dark eyes studying first the stranger, then Fereda. The crow behind him let out a threatening caw, and only then did Derizon noticed that the red eyes were fixed on a dove that rested between the stranger's hands. He narrowed his eyes further. "Yes?"

Falkor let out a growl as Simon disappeared upstairs. The dove's head cranned to see the canine, before it let out a cry and struggled in the man's hands. Snarling, Falkor pretended to leap at the dove to scare it, which wasn't very hard as the dove let out another cry. Scoffing, the canine landed on all fours and carefully followed Simon upstairs, baring her teeth whenever the dove glanced back at her. A human's presence swirled nearby, and the dog turned to see the girl with Derizon following them. Since Falkor had nothing against the girl, she calmly nuzzled her hand before slipping next to Simon, glaring at the dove as she placed a paw on the bottom of the door. Her claws jerked and slid down, leaving a small, faint row of claw marks as she waited. She tilted her head to one side when the man and the girl started to speak.

When the door opened, Falkor turned her head to the left to examine the boy's face. Something was bothering the boy - Falkor could sense. Her eyes narrowed when she spotted a crow sitting on the ledge of the window. Letting out a bark, Falkor barged into the door, wedging it opened as she sprinted towards the crow. Another warning bark escaped her maw as she slammed herself against the wall, snarling and barking at the creature. Something about that crow spooked her.

Simon calmly regarded the crow, although it stirred up conflicted feelings within him. He turned back to Derizon, who was peering at him with a gleam of suspicion in his eyes. The boy was right not to trust him - he barely knew him, and here he was with a strange dove in his hands, knocking on his door. "I wish to speak with you in private, if you don't mind," he stated. He felt the dog's presence nearby, and he felt a little better about the crow.

The door suddenly widened, and Simon's eyes caught a golden blur dash past him into the room. He blinked a few times to see Falkor slam herself against the wall in an attempt to reach the crow as snarls and barks dripping with wild fear ripped out of her throat. He held the dove tighter against him in a protective manner and partially hid it in his jacket to shield it from the crow's prying, red eyes.

"Falkor!" Simon shouted firmly, fear rising within him. He knew he would feel as though it was his own fault if the dog got hurt, and he couldn't bear to think of what he'd do if that really did happen. "Falkor! Stop!"

Maaaaybe. HURRHURRHURR.))

Derizon nodded, but quickly took a step back when the dog suddenly came rushing over squeezed into the room. He turned to watch, but did nothing, really, and was rather surprised when the crow simply stared at the golden dog, red eyes seeming to judge it, before it let out a loud caw and flapped it's wings threateningly, a claw lifting from the windowsill and swiftly moved forwards, attempting to let the talons injure the dog's face. The boy glanced over to Simon, half expecting him to do something.

Falkor let out a yelp as the crow's talons ripped down her face. Blood splattered onto her eyes, but she shook it off and snarled, anger rising in her. She ignored the cries of Simon as she sprang up, her jaws snapping in attempt to grab the crow. But the crow was too high - she didn't know if she could grab it or not.

Alarm and anger slashed through Simon, leaving a blistering wound that seared deeply into him at the sight of dark blood swirling down Falkor's face and staining her golden pelt, but he was too far from the scene to see if the wound was serious or not. "Of all impolite encounters!" he snarled, shoving the dove deeper into his jacket to keep it from the crow's reach, still holding tightly to it as his right hand yanked a dagger out from its sheath. Shoving his way into the room, he stepped in front of the dog and aimed his weapon into the air in an attempt to bring down the sharp metal onto the crow.
