Realistic or Neon?

Gettin' back on topic, I personally prefer the more semi-realistic/realistic preferences via character appearance. However that's just my general taste. When it comes to one's species, I can be rather lenient as long as the species is considered fair and has its strong points as well as weaknesses whether it be a biblical creature (such as a demonic entity), a mythological being, or even somethin' that members have made up themselves. It matters not to me as my fursona, Vespian, is a species a good friend of mine has solely created called a Kruziik Nahlrii.

i like neon most, gray/brown/white/black animals is sometimes a little boring, like, atleast you could have a LITTLE of ONE non-realistic color

As for me character wise, I kinda go for semi realistic and such. Not really any bright or unusual colors but different enough to no longer be classed as realistic as shown by my fursona in my siggy and avatar. c:

Gotta say that I'm much the same as Genny here. Semi realistic patterns and colors and whatnot, but the occasional brighter or unnatural colors sort of makes characters more individual and unique in my opinion. Though I only make felines anymore come to think of it. Odd considering I used to make only canine character, but now if you tell me to make a canine character it takes me like half an hour and just kind of looks like a deformed potato. Sooo realistic felines for me.

I usually prefer the realistic kind, but then again I do love creativity so some of my own characters aren't maybe neon, but not realistic either really. I'd say I'm more of the semi-realistic character ;3

To me, I guess it just depends. From semi-realistic to unrealistic to realistic, really, I'd even make a Godly blobfish look kinda realistic. (True story, I already did. xD) But, still, it really depends on what kind of character I'm making here. Though, creativity is always the key for me! Neon? I'm pretty sure I don't make neon characters though, just to be a little more... on the creative side in colors, too. At least in my opinion. Though, I might have a few neon-ish characters...

I prefer super realistic characters.
It will literally bother me so bad if everything about my character doesn't make legit sense- whether it be their breed, family relations, correct fur/eye/marking color according to its breed possibilities- stuff like that,.
I think way too into these things. XD

What I prefer usually
Changes with my mood and what I feel like doing.
I usually stick the the Semi-Realistic- Realistic range
However my first character was actually a black wolf with
purple bubble markings named Wicked, she's evolved
into a black pelted, tiger striped gal with a Siamese
green tail tip and contacted slitted green eyes.
Due to Wolf's Rain I do enjoy realistic wolf Role Plays
Though when it comes to lions I have yet to find a pride
that follows the realistic guidelines of a lion pride, though
I still manage to make Realistic lions and Derp in Bonfire when
I'm bored. ;3; I also frolic around FH with many other Species
Such as Otters and Rabbits. o3o~

I don't really use any of those styles all that often. I go with a more.. I guess 'punk look' you could say. The colors are usually rich, but no where near neon, and I do have several dark characters, but not 'emo' dark. And I suppose you could say some of them have a 'edgy' look about them? As for realistic.. I have a crocodile. But other then that, its either Cosplay (Transformers and Anime mostly), my own characters that aren't even realistic species (Spirits, dragons, griffons, original species, etc.), or the occasional 'I'm a semi realistic feline with red paws or pink eyes'. So overall I'd say I do a mix of just about everything.
