((From a previous post it seemed we had already done a time skip, so I worked on that. Ryoko was took to be bathed, groomed and checked by the vet-now in a room ready to meet his new family. Tasha is outside on the fields with Tom on her daily walk, but they've stopped to play ball for a while))

Ren awoke slowly, stretching his muscles.  He stood slowly, walking over to his water dish.  He lapped at it slowly, almost inhaling each lap of water.  He finished and sat, scratching behind his ear.  It was unlike him to have such a lack of energy.

Key

The 2 month old puppy was very happy, she barked a lot. A few days have passed, and she was gonna be adopted. She smiled, her big teal eyes had a joyful look. She barked joyfully when a woman named Andy came to her cage. Andy said "Arent you excited Key? Today your being adopted!" Andy opened her cage. Clipping a leash around her pink collar she led her to the washing room. They both walked to the washing room, and put her in a large silver tub. Another staff member named Samantha joined them.

Turning on the tap the shower was completely soaking the puppy in water. They would have her washed, flead and groomed. They applied the flea shampoo, washing her around, soaking the puppy in suds. They then rinsed off the flea shampoo, and kept rinsing her until all the shampoo was gone. Then they turned off the tap, and took the puppy out and dried her. Then they took her to the veterans room. They tested her ears, teeth, mouth, nose, joints, health and everything else. She then ate some food and inhaled some water.

Key was ready to be adopted. She still had to wait a while. To keep the puppy entertained, she was in the play room. Her adoption was in 50 minutes, she barked as she played with the toys.

Idina

   A van with a paw print pulled up at the rescue with a dog's blaring barking in the trunk, as the door opened Idina's figure showed as they led her back into the rescue, Idina walked towards the food room, starving as she scoffed down the food.

Ryoko

Ryoko had been in the meeting room for atleast 20 minutes now and any minute his new family would be arriving. Excitement and happiness filled the pup, he hadn't really been here as long as most dogs so he hadn't grew to attatched to the shelter-although he knew it would be hard to leave. Leaping onto the sofa next to Karen he placed his head on her lap as she petted him, speaking reassuring words. "You excited Roko?....I'm sure you'll like your new home!" She smiled. Karen had cared for Ryoko ever since he had arrived, and a strong bond was kept between the two making the split just as hard. A family entered the room, a red haired female and a brown haired male, along with another dog-what looked the same as him but more white patches. Leaping from the couch Ryoko began interacting with the new family and their pet, now known as Jack. The two got along just fine and the pup seemed to like the new family.

Signing a few papers and going through a few tests it was finally time for Ryoko to leave the shelter and begin his new life outside in the wilderness with his new family. The pup looked back at Karen with wide eyes as he began to whimper and nudging the staff wroker. "You'll be alright boy, I'm sure I'll see you again!" she smiled wiping a few tears from her eyes and hugging and kissing the pup several times before leaving. Turning one last time he allowd his cheerful bark to fill the shelter soon followed by a whimper. Flicking his hind legs he bolted out the shelter but was tugged back by the end of the leash. Getting into a car Ryoko was finally on his way to his forever home.  





Tasha

Brown paws thudded the ground as Tasha bolted after the bright coloured ball-her tail arched and wagging as she let out several barks, her tongue clumsily hanging from the side of her muzzle. Kneeling down she snagged the ball up in her jaws and headed back to Tom, dropping it into his hand as he knelt down. Stepping back she barked at the light haired male as he smiled "Ready girl?" he questioned and followed by her bark he threw the ball into the distance. Already on her way Tash watched as the ball dropped a small distance infront of her-grabbing the ball once again she headed back, chewing the ball a little as it remained in her mouth. They had been out for an hour or so now and although Tasha wasn't tired she had to go in and get ready for feeding time, and after they would probably go for another walk. Tom didn't need to put the Kelpie on a leash, she followed obediently behind.

Arriving back at the shelter Tasha let out a bark as she pushed through the doors and looking at a few staff members, her tail wagged and a muffled bark escaped her maw. "See you guys have been for a walk?" Lucy smiled as she watched the dog head down the hall "Yeah, and she's still not tired!" Tom chuckled and headed quickly after the Kelpie. Looking, he smiled as she was stood outside her cage barking, opening the door he watched as she began lapping up water, bending down he grabbed the tennisball and threw it carefully in. "Ok Tasha, I'll be back soon.." he muttered and set off. Lifting her head she barked as an "Okay" then bend down and continued to get a drink. Once her thirst was satisfied Tasha headed towards her fluffy brown bed, that had a white floofed cushion inside. Circling she lay down on her side and placed her head on the side-looking around at the few humans and dogs passing by.

Personality:
Chop is a very loyal and obedient dog who is very protective of those he grows fond of and will not hesitate to attack if he feels the need to and if commanded to. A powerful canine he is and usually uses his strength more than his brain, although when he decideds to he's pretty intelligent. Although Chop looks 'dopey' he knows a lot of commands and is rather obedient. Chop doesn't seem like your average loving dog and he prefers to be outside playing with a ball, tug rope or another fellow canine-although because of his strength and clumsy traits he's often kept from the smaller dogs incase he injures them, even though he doesn't intend to. When he wants to Chop is actually a loving dog and will cuddle up to you. Once he trusts/warms up to you that is. A brave and strong willed canine, an excellent example of his breed.

Bio:
Chop was brought up in a small town, but sadly it wasn't the greatest. It was well known for its crimp and gangs that hung around, somtimes causing trouble and sometimes not. Chop, out of many dogs here was born and sold to a person who took part in these 'gangs'. He was trained to be aggressive, but also taught many commands, being able to fight with others dogs and even ordered to attack people on cammand. Although the gang he was owned by weren't as bad as the rest they were still pretty well known. Chop spent many years with the gang until his owner Mark was shot and killed, the rest being arrested. With no where else to go Chop was took to the shelter. Many dogs like him wouldn't be given a 2nd chance but fortionately he was. Maybe they see something in this canine.

Chop wears a thick, black, leather collar with his tags on.

[[Idina got attacked by a total jerk and taken to a hospital and returned. Ryoko got adopted and Tasha is still finding a home. ))
