So, do I have to fight in this section? It seems there's sebody fighting but hasn't posted. Also, I'll post a little bit later when I'm awake.))

Athena

"Go ahead, tell me that I'm not good enough. Tell me I can't do it. Because I'll show you over and over again that I can!"

The young lioness had began to circle Mokau once again, her claws flexing and dragging across the ground - sounding like chalk and a board, which caused for the audience, her opponent and the spectators to cringe. Her whiskers and ears twitched in anticipation as she watched sweat slowly form on the middle-aged mans face. This being had always taunted the lioness when she was locked away, calling her worse than scum and often hitting her when no one was around - it would be unlikely for her to let him out alive.

Athena had came to a sudden stop, her 'killer' gaze locked onto the being - one many already recognised and gasped in anticipation to see what would be coming next. Mokau had a stickn with a point on the end - but it wasn't that sharp nor blunt, but if used with the right force could cause some pain or even damage. Finally, the fight had begun - this time with only one survivor, the teasing from Athena was over and the tan skinned male was about to meet his doom.

Quickly, the lioness launched off her paws. Muscles rippled beneath the thick layer of fur, the work of it being pretty noticable as she ran - slowly tensing. Long claws out at the ready and her maw wrinkled as she let out many hissed and growls. Large broad paws thudded against the tiled ground of the arena, the crowd silent as they watched.

Eyeing up how much run up she had left Athena finally launched herself from her paws, aiming right at the human she hated ever so much - her mouth parted as she let out many snarly - her eyes narrowed and rage filled the felins eyes. But, in mid air Mokau seen his chance, swinging the stick he was given as a weapon he hit the lioness - the long object smashed into the side of her head and into her rips , the point ever so slightly digging into her hind leg causing her to let out a bellowing roar. Growling, the lioness seemed to slightly flip in mid air - hitting the ground with some force and skidding back a little. The crowd, as predicted had begun to boo and shout.

Athena knew waiting was not an option and would just give the human a chance to get one up on the feline. Growling, she shuffled around then slowly pressed the pads of her paws against the ground - hurling herself off she gave her body a brisk shake. The crowd had now picked up and began to cheer for the well-liked lioness as she regained herself and was once again was ready to attack. That blow had only angered the female more and the taste for blood had rapidly grown. Unlike most beings getting out of here only injured Athena was planning on killing him. Now was her time, he was nervous and shaken - merely experienced the lioness had been in a lot more battles so knew the ways to fight.

Without taking any more time Athena launched herself forward once again, seeing her failed attempts before she decided launcheg into mid-air wasn't a good idea, so decided to go straight for his legs or even his waist - which shouldn't be to hard. Suddenly, the lioness charged forward, ignoring the blow from the stick on her back and instead latching her mouth around the humans legs. Tightening her grip she pierced the skin - feeling blood ooze into her mouth she pushed, causing him to fall. Despite her efforts the human seemed to be violently swinging the stick with some force - giving her some painful blows. Raising a paw the lioness slammed it onto his arm - preventing him from swinging the weapon again. Another paw pressing his head into the ground as she grabbed onto his waist - sinking her teeth into it. One last time, she sunk her teeth into his neck.

After a minute or so Athena had released her grip and backed away, feeling someone drag her off - glancing down she watched his blood spitted from the cuts and teeth marks on his body, Mokaus eyes began to roll bacl as blood gurgled in his mouth - and soon he went lifeless. The crowd had went lifeless for a moment, until the lioness glanced and lifted her head in a bellowing roar. "We declair Athena the winner!" a spectator called out and the blood stained lioness headed back to her cage.

Castro's gaze shifted to the opening and then the lioness who had entered. He wasn't shocked to see her blood stained muzzle. He was actually somewhat impressed. After a moment his handler came and opened up his cage. "Your turn." He had said before leading Castro out into the arena. He couldn't see his opponent just yet and once a door on the other side of the arena opened up to an armored man, he knew he was up for a challenge. The man was indeed well muscled and his armor covered his chest, neck, and head, covering all of his vital spots. He grumbled lowly as he circled his enemy. He could hear the spectator speak. "Today we have a coliseum champion, Vlad! He has killed other men along with some of the animals but we hope tonight that this will be the end of his winning streak." The crowd roared at this before the spectator spoke again. "And his opponent, the only grozzly in our arena, Castro! You all remember him." He had said simply. Once more the crowd roared and the announcer began to fight. Castro rose up on his hind legs, his height increasing easily by three feet. He slammed back down and charged his opponent. He hadn't noticed the shield he weilded sadly and was met with a blow to the head. He hit the ground dazed but recovered quick enough to avoid a sword in him.

Athena

"Go ahead, tell me that I'm not good enough. Tell me I can't do it. Because I'll show you over and over again that I can!"

A large, heavy chain was pushed past the lionesses head - her ears pressing her ears down for a split second, instantly she fel the beavy weight of the chain, although it wasn't as heavy for a beast with her structure. A long, chain-link leash was then attacked to one of the links and Athena was lead out of the blood stained ring. She was the second last fighter of the day and she believed she had done pretty well - killing one of her worst enemys sent a sense of pride through the lioness as she proudly stopped infront of the large door, which quickly rose up allowing light into the darkened room.

The lionesses shadow filled the dull-light room as she stood still at the door for a few seconds - being greeted but not with wordy, with glares from the other animals as they glanced in her direction. Crimson blood stained the felines fur, and since the light colour the stains were rather noticable although that didn't bother her. Muscles now relaxed and the lioness returning to her calm state she was quietly lead towards her large cage - Tyran giving the door one heavy thrust and it flew open. Unclipping the chain leash he patted the lioness "I'll bring your food soon.." he spoke, his familiar deep voice echoed. Slamming shut the door he locked it giving the lioness a reassuring smile and a dip of his head to say well done then hurried away.

Rotating her jaw a little - from the painful blow - it seemed to let out a sickening crack, a rush of pain was sent through but her jaw returned to its origional state. But the lionesses mind had been taken off herself for a moment as she watched a large creature exit its cage and enter the arena one she noticed as a Rhino but was unsure on the brutes name, she hadn't crossed paths with this beast before - but she would like to sometime. He seemed like a successful fighter just like herself.

Stepping back in her cage Athen began to pace around a little, sometimes across the cage or following around the circular pen she was regularly placed in. Stepping over the large bowl of water the lioness came to a sudden stop to the sound of a voice "I hear it was a good fight, miss?" a Cheetah had spoke from the neighbouring cage, turning she smiled and dipped her head "It sure was, about time Mokau got punished for his behaviour towards us animals" she growled a little - the humans name seeming to anger her. "Oh, so I believe he has been slaughtered?" Jakusi questioned tilting his head "He sure was" "Good, also good win Athena" he spoke "Thank you" she replied and the older feline seemed to drift off.

All seemed quiet in the caged area, most animals seeming to be asleep, watchign their surrounding or entertaining themselves somehow in their cages. Sighing, the muscular feline had glanced around for a moment - everything seemed quiet and calm, but the sudden roars of the crowd had broke the silence. Her meal was being prepared and would be done withing 20/30 mins which didn't really bother her. Taking a seat on her haunches Athena began grooming the blood from her pelt.

Castro successfully rammed into the gladiator, sending him tumbling. Before he had another chance to strike Castro, Castro roose up once more and slammed down but the gladiator had already rolled out of the way. He grumbled and circled his opponent. His gaze shifted and he jumped forward again, knocking the man off his feet and this time successfully pinning him. He wasn't in the mood for a long dragged out fight so he gripped the gladiators helmet and pulled. After a couple minutes of tugging it gave way and his neck was revealed. He went for his neck after that and kept his grip. He kept hold till he was sure he was dead then backed off rising up. His muscles rippled beneath his thick brown pelt when he slammed bavk doen. "Castro is the winner!" A spectator said. He did a sort of roar and was led back into the holding area.

[Howl at the Moon]

Ares was grooming his fur when Athena walked back into the room. "Good job." He nodded. He turned his attention to the bear, who was heading into the stadium. "Good luck." He soon heard the roar of the crowd, along with the announcer's voice. He turned his attention to Jakusi and Athena, who were talking about Mokau.  "Good riddance. That guy deserved it!" Mokau had been cruel to the animals, hitting their cages and taunting them. "I'm so glad he is dead."

Jupiter

Jupiter watched as the Bear returned to his cage. Jupiter stood up and addressed the animals, "Guys! Did you all notice the humans building something on the side of the stadium? I think they are up to something!"



Erebus looked at Jupiter, "Really?" He stomped a heavy foot, and grunted. He looked at all the animals and ate some leaves.

Athena

"Go ahead, tell me that I'm not good enough. Tell me I can't do it. Because I'll show you over and over again that I can!"

The golden coloured lioness continued to clean her blood stained pelt, it had been a while since she had thought and she believed her fight had went rather well - despite killing one of her worst enemies she managed to escape the fight without any savere or deadly wounds, which was a bonus - many animals who thought in the statium often received wounds that could possibly injure them for life or even worse kill them. But, that wasn't something she had to worry about - although their deaths were sad in the ring she focused on herself, which most probably did.

Hearing the deep voice of Ares she turned her head, the large brutes white fur instantly standing out - it baffled her how the lion kept his fur so clean, she was pigmented tan and she herself found it rather hard keeping her light coloured fur clean, he seemed to do it with ease. Drawing her tongue back into her mouth she lowered her paw the the ground "Thank you, Ares." she replied with a quick dip to her head as she glanced back at the arena hearing the cheers. But the brutes deep voice got her attention once again. "So am I, he was a bitter man - being slaughtered done him good!" she growled, just thinking about him made her skin crawl and her snout the wrinkle. "I to am glad..." she agreed letting out a sigh.

For a moment Athena thought about what Jupiter had said, she was totally oblivious to what the humans had begun doing in the stadium - she was to focused on her fight, although something in the air seemed different. Curiosity filled the young cat as her head tilted for a moment, what could they be doing? She questioned herself, not like they needed to upgrade the arena or anything. Shaking her head she glanced at each animal before resting her gaze on Jupiter "What do you think they're doing?" she questioned pulling herself closer to the bars of her cage listening patiently and quietly.

Jupiter

Jupiter looked to Athena, "I don't know for sure, but the have a white blanket draped over so we can't see whatever is under there. But I know that it always hasn't been there. Maybe tomorrow when I fight I will try to see."
