@Everyone--If I do open applications on dogs, remember that you don't need to be a herding dog, you can be an indoor dog or any other type of dog.
Belena was sitting on her nest, which was hidden out in the tall grasses. As the tornado started, she panicked. The hen stared at her nest, not knowing what to do. "Can I sit here and make it?" she wondered, defensively standing over her nest for a while for sitting back down. If she had to flee, she would have to leave her nest, it wasn't like she had fingers like those two-legged creatures who fed them all every day. Belena closed her eyes, and decided to continue sitting on her chicks.
Dixie started running around, staring at the cornfield where some others seemed to be heading. "Is that the safest place to go? There's no where to hide..." she said to herself, pausing and staring ahead. "The barn would collapse, just like the house, definitely not going in there." As she was muttering and thinking to herself, ears flopped over due to the wind, a crack from above caught her off-guard. As she looked up, a branch from the tree above her was only hanging on by a string. It then fell, and although Dixie attempted to run out of it's way, it fell down on the small canine. The branches trapped her inside, the main branch forcing her onto her side. The terrier cried out, paws desperately trying to grab anything she could. "Help!" she barked out, hoping someone was nearby.
