Daciana & Reima
"So whenever you feel alone, just remember that those stars will always be there to guide you. And so will I."
Turning to glance behind her, the pup watched the larger, older canine vanish in to one of the near by alleys, at a loped run. Although she had her doubts that her 'mother' may get injured further. She trusted her plan, and she had a feeling Daciana would be safe. Snapping her attention on to the two felines at her rear, a smile appeared on the pups face as she nodded her head. Turning her head back towards the direction she was running, the pup lunged forward, wagging her tail in the sudden rush, her eyes lighting up as the barbed fence came in to view, followed by the stone house. Safety was almost in paws reach, they'd soon be safe. A buzz seemed to run through the pup, she had always been clumsy, and often done things wrong, or too excitedly. However, she seemed to have done the right thing now. Eventually she was able to prove she was of use, even if it was just something small. But there was still a short run to go, but at their pace, they'd reach it within a matter of seconds. The growls had now faded, and the path behind them was a large one. "Here we are..." she yipped quietly, managing to follow hers and Dacis faded scent back to the house. Quickly rushing forward, the pup grasped the plank of wood between her teeth, growling quietly as she dragged it back, pulling with all her might. Until the slab pulled over. Rolling backwards, she quickly regained her footing and stood upright, leaping towards the hole, she pushed herself through with ease. Daci had dug it just enough for her to fit in, so those mutants would have a hard job fitting through.
Standing on the other side if the fence, Reima looked out at the two cats with her head tilted "Come on, we'll be safe in here. Me and Daci have lived out in here quite some time. I like it.." she grinned, turning and quickly darting up the flight of narrow, steep stairs which lead up to the small hole they'd come in and out of. The youngster would gesture towards the house, allowing them to go inside if they wished. Meanwhile, Reima sat with her small head placed through the gap in the small fence with acted as a balcony, casting her gave over the street, awaiting Dacianas return.
Meanwhile, the large female continued to lope down the street, now and then casting a glance behind her. The small trio were now gone out of sight, and Daciana felt worried. More for Reima, seeing as they'd been together longer, and a bond had been formed between the two. However, she also felt for the felines. Although she hadn't been with them long, she felt it was her job to protect them too. As much as she has hated cats in the past, these ones seem to have grown on her. And she wasn't to make sure all the living citizens of Queton City are safe. She refuses to let the city be over run by those beasts. Focusing back on her task, the female would continue to make her way down the street, the growls seemed to have died down, but the plan was of course working. She could hear the beasts grunting behind her, and what seemed to be a call to gather, as she turned, she'd see their shadows cast on the walls as she charged swiftly around the corners. She'd not be able to keep this up for long though, and soon she'd need to head back. As soon as possible at that. Brushing herself up against a dumpster, then up against a wall. She took a sharp turn down several alleys. Now and then taking the chances she had to run through the odd ground floor of the building. Soon enough, she was back at the scene where everything happened. The creatures barely behind her now, and the trail would have lost them. Letting out a grunt, the injured canine headed down the same route Reima had taken the others. Soon enough the house coming in to view.
Smiling in relief, the lass limped towards the house, at a slightly faster pace. Now and then wincing with the pain which ran up her leg. However, Daci was soon stopped in her tracks. A small, tatted creature emerged from a near by alley. The creature hissed and lashed out its tail, arching its back as it took a few, short leaps forward. Great, it was another mutant. This one a lot smaller, and in the form of a cat. It wasn't these that bothered her though, they were easy enough the fight off, especially this one seeing as it was a lot smaller. Managing to only receive one strike from the cat, Dacia would lunge forward, grasping the cat in her jaws and slamming it on to the ground. Hopping her good leg up on to the felines side, causing it to quietly shriek, then gasp for air, she'd arch her head, grasp the felines neck in her jaws and with one quick twisted jerk, a sickening crack echoed. Picking up the corpse, she'd throw it in to a near by wall, spitting out the tagged hair which had collected in her maw. Plopping in to a near by puddle, the Malinois lowered herself down, rolling several times to rid her pelt of the putrid, thick tar like blood of the mutant. Once soaked, she'd pull herself out and shake off her pelt. Looking towards the building, she first noticed Reima as she leaped up and made her way quickly down the steep stairs. Smiling, the tan hued canid would slowly make her way towards the fence, then pulling herself down the hole, she'd pop back through to pull the slab over. Blocking their way in.
The tight squeeze has caused Dacia to wince and whine slightly as pressure had been added to her paw. However, she pushed it aside, rubbing her head against the pup as she hopped over, rubbing herself against the female. "Is everyone alright?" she'd question, panting heavily as she carefully made her way up the pair of steep stairs, her tail swaying behind her. She could now relax. She was back home and safe, and the others appeared to be alright.
OOC: Or it could have been referred to dog racing, idk xD
