Height-maps must be:

513X513
grey-scaled either by an option in a drop menu or in optimized saving
a flattened image (no transparencies, no layers)

When the mesh using a mirror is complete, go back into object mode. Where you set the mirror, there is a small button labeled "apply".  Clicking it will make the mirrored part into real mesh and the exporter will export the whole mesh instead of only half.

Manes need to have a certain amount of transparency to them to make them the nice fuzzy look like they have in custom mode. Opening the manemask texture has a nice enough layout for how the transparency should look.

Something such as this. See how the bottom has that toothy area of nothingness?

If you got them from Google, why didn't you like to the image instead of putting them in a download?

http://www.fordogtrainers.com/ProductImages/dog-breeds-muzzles/Boston-Terrier-muzzle-Boston-Terrier.jpg

much quicker to pull up, and my computer doesn't go all "rawrg! downloads are evil!" on me. :3

@ felicia: I...don't think I understand what you mean? A mark that changes the toes color? or something larger?

Game Help / Re: Waterfall mesh file ruined! help!
« on: October 05, 2011, 09:35:39 pm »
WaterFallMat will put the texture back on your waterfall.mesh once your files are repaired via re-installing. Capitalization is important. If the mesh still loads with the base mat, select the mesh and type "WaterFallMat" into the material box and hit the update button.

I see some potential for lag in them. Maybe from vertex count. But...I'm not experiencing any running lag at the moment. So I'm not really sure where the problem would lie.

Having the meshing program open at the same time can effect game lag. So can running the game for a long time and constantly opening and closing the game (oddly, the worst offender for me lol).

It did take a abnormal amount of time loading up edif.mesh. So that may be the culprit. Maybe...

music.cfg is the file where playlists are contained. it is located in the main feralheart folder.

[myplaylist]
media/sounds/song.mp3
media/sounds/song.mp3

change mypaylist to anything you can easily remember and change the song to match the song you want that track to play. that song must be in the sounds folder for it to work properly.

double clicking to open the file will work just the same as a right click. if it's not set to open .cfg files to notepad, a prompt will ask you which program you want to view the file in. simply select notepad from the list and make the check box for "always use this program" is checked and hit ok.
