Anock nodded and got up as well, seeing him out of the castle. The air bit at her toes, so she decieded to stay inside and discover the courtyard on another day. She walked through the barraks as well as a few merchant stands and found nothing to interest her. She walked around a bit more eye staring upwards at the ceiling. With a couple more steps she found herself triping over a large lump of medal. She looked down after gathering herself and she noticed a little wodden hatch attached to the medal ring that had tripped her up. She grasped the medal ring in curiosity and pulled it, the hatch didnt budge. She frowned and tried again, and still the same result. She tried once more, taking a breath and yanking hard on it, with a creak and a small snap of rusted bolts it opened. She stood back, trying to see deper inside the passage, but it was too dark. With curiosity burning, she stepped down and into the passage way. After a few minutes her eyes fully ajusted to the light and she padded deeper within. She found shackles and cages, all holding what appeared to be bones. The stentch was outragious that she bent her head to cover her nose in her chest fur. There was blood splattered everywhere, the smell of mildew and decay were the most pormenent. Although it was obviously a place where no sane lion or lioness would discover, she was drawn in deeper, the sights horrifying her. As she neared the end, a giant cage sat open, just slightly ajar. She looked inside of it poking her head in slightly. All of a sudden a giant burst of wind pushed her into the cage, she fell over her two front paws. As she stood up she was frozzen, images of lions being tourchered, wiped by what appeared to be black vines, givin little food, tormented by these savage hairless beasts. She was in a trance that she couldnt snap out of. She saw elder liones, middle aged lions, and cubs, cowering against the stone walls that were covered in their blood, lions and lionesses roaring, trying to escape, pleading with no previal to let their cubs go. There were also feew that layed upon the ground, both in a fearing submission as well as those who had given up the fight and were slowly letting themselves decay and rot. Anock was so overwhellmed that she let out a roar, trying to make her head stop. She fell to the ground paws over her ears "Stop, please, Just make it stop!" she yelled and without a moments notice her visions haulted, only the drip of melted snow against stone was heard. She opened her eyes staring out of the bars of the cage "how could they..." she said weakly in discust.
