"Yeah, I think." She hopped from the stairway and gazed across the forest-surrounded area. An aura pulsed from almost every blade of grass, every leaf dangling from the trees...
Shaking her head from the nearly hypnotic trance, Electra yawned. That L guy must be on the next floor. We will bring him to justice, she thought determinedly, though with a trace of doubt. If we make it that far. As it was now, the two hadn't encountered any real danger along the way to the Lucario. "I wonder if that L person is hiding from us," she crowed, static causing her fur to rise. It was unlikely for a full-fledged criminal to hide from a new exploration team; Electra's deep thinking was interrupted by a question from Kyeshui.
"Do you think we'll find anymore Poke'mon that want-ta picking a fight?"
"I don't know," she admitted, casting her dark eyes down toward the ground she walked on. "We won't find out until we reach the end, I guess. Telling by the others that fled, I would think they are too scared to face us, but it's a possibility as well that they would retaliate."
Duna, after stocking up on items from the Kangaskhan Storage, set out on her journey to Apple Woods, which was obviously named after the bunches of apple trees the dungeon grew. As she set foot in the mystery dungeon, the crisp scent of fresh apples wreathed around her, nearly drawing her toward it like a Venomoth to a lantern. The fruits grew and dangled on every branch, gleaming a bright red. Suddenly an eerie trill jolted her from standing there with her mouth flooding with water.
"Taillow! Taillow!"
A sparrow-like Pokemon fluttered toward her with an enraged expression, squawking and squealing. "Hey! Get away from here, birdie!" The Purrloin flashed out thorn-sharp claws in defense, smirking as the Taillow halted in midair. It's 'cause I'm a cat that it's afraid of me, she thought in triumph. She was surprised as it let out a shrill call.
Suddenly it looked like a million Taillow surrounded her, all shrieking territorial cries. "You're not gonna yell at me to death, are ya?" Duna hissed, crouching down in a melodramatic ball of purple and tan. The birds advanced, going so far as to peck at the Dark-Type feline's ears. Duna yowled and sprang into the mass of feathers, her teeth gleaming in the low light of the forest. "Woah woah woah! You've gone too far, feather heads!" Beaks and wings jabbed at her as she jumped through the flock of Taillow, though she ignored the little pain she realized was burning at her sides. To her amusement, the crowd of sparrows made room and perched on nearby apple trees, still glaring at her in hostility.
A screech bounced around, being muffled from the outside of the woods by the leaves on the plants. A larger, more superior-looking Pokemon swooped out, its tail long and sharp. A Swellow? You have got to be kidding me! Duna thought with a frustrated hiss. "Hey, birdie, why don't you just go back to bed and let me be?" she yelled, her tail lashing in the grass.
The Ponyta knew she needed help as she heard Tetra shout to her; she held in a modest response and focused on the Donphan gathering energy to charge through the fire vortex she'd created to cage it in. With a neigh she added more flames, closing it in on the elephant until it started bellowing in panic. Instantly she realized the enemy was overwhelmed by the heat of the fire and thinned the flames out so it could flee. Before she could blink the Donphan stumbled through and charged away, leaving a mildly amused grin on Nyla's snout. "I guess it couldn't handle a little fire." she mused, turning to the other opponents in the cave. "Now, who's next?"
