(Sorry it's a little short, I think I'm getting- *scary music plays* Writer's Block O.o)

"Maybe we can't just fight against it or something. . . . . What do you think would happen if we, eh, gave it something? So it'd move for us?" Kyeshui was partically joking about the 'give it something' part, though the thought that giving it something might work was at the front of his mind. It of course, didn't make any sense at all, in the human world anyway. This wasn't the human world though, so who knew what might happen. "I wish I knew what rocks like..."
"Well, before we resort to that let's just go and see if the staircase is anywhere else," Kyeshui added, looking at the rock with a somewhat uncertain look. It could be possible that this wasn't the staircase, and they had just wasted their time trying to move it. Yes, that was probaly it in this case. "C'mon!"
Averting himself from the rock, the riolu walked off towards another direction. The usual lust green grass, that gave off a slightl glow was visable, along with a variety of trees, empty berry bushes, and a few flower patches here and there. Aurura forest seemed like a sort of paradise to him, and it probaly did to any new comer or anything of the sort. "I can see why L picked to hide out in this place." He joked as he continued to examine the area, even though it was all 'quite similiar' from the rest of it. The forest was quite a site though, but it was probaly something 'normal' or 'everyday' to the locals.

Jade tilted her head, her pupiless pale eyes narrowing with a now concerned scowl. The shaymin was acting like that of a bemused child, and had probably fallen into the hole, injuring itself. Teh. I remember when I just started out exploring... I started with little rescue missions like this, Nodding, the absol bent down and bit down gently onto the back of the legendary's neck. "Please don't be alarmed. I'm going to help you out of here." With that, and with a powerful kick of her back legs, Jade launched herself and the shaymin out of the hole and back on stable ground. The aura surrounding them glow ominously, it was almost dizzying. After a brief look around to make sure Kyeshui and Electra weren't around, the guildmaster set the shaymin down. "What is your name?" She asked quickly, wondering what she should do with the injured paw. Jade hadn't expected to run into any trouble, so she didn't bring along any supplies... Though that what probably unwise of her. An Oran berry would only help to supress the pain, though. If the bone is broken, then she would need medical care...

Metis managed a grim smirk, looking up at Tetra as she stood, "Don't kid yourself; what you did took some serious guts." Just like the that, the ground underpaw began to tremble violently before dropping a few inches, almost knocking the vulpix off her paws. "What the...?" Her eyes scanned over the now broken terrain of kicked up dirt until they reached the source of the commotion. The seviper now lay unconscious in a shallow hole in the ground. Metis was compelled to let out a sigh of relief, but it was quickly overcome with the sense of fear.
"Tensu!" Tetra called, dashing over and dragging the battered body of said meowth with the help of, surprisingly, the shinx they came to rescue. Metis quickly tailed the two until they walked to a place where the rubble wouldn't hinder them. She stared grimly at Tensu, noticing how badly injured he had gotten himself.
"We need to get him help as soon as possible, no amount of berries can heal him at this point," She explained through gritted teeth, glancing over her shoulder at their defeated opponent. Closing her eyes and letting out a few deep breaths, she reached into her pouch and pulled out the explorer badge, raising it so it glinted brightly. "You know what to do, guys." She pointed it first at the shinx, waited until the circle of light disappeared along with the young electric type, then pointed it at Tensu. Once the Meowth was teleported, she winked at Nyla and Tetra, then teleported herself back to the guild.

Consciousness was drifting in and out of him. The only thing that was fully processing to him was that the ground was shaking, which wasn't normal. After that was a sense of urgency, something telling him he had to get out but no matter how hard he tried he couldn't open his eyes, or move. T-Tetra..? the thought came at the sound of her voice. It was definitely her's, but who was she calling out to? The name sounded familiar, but...

A searing pain from his back stopped all thoughts. Chikao groaned, the first thing he was able to do, and he was vaguely aware of being pulled. Whoever was tugging at him, the Meowth wanted to tell them to stop, but yet again he couldn't. Soon there was an even harsher tug, and Chikao found himself lying on his back. "Nng, nugh..." the sounds were softly spoken and unintelligible, but they were sounds. There were voices around him, all of them melting together so it became difficult to pinpoint them and who they belonged to. Finally, though, he gave up, the strain was just to painful.

I'll just... rest for a minute, he planned. Trying to remain aware of everything was just too much effort, and it was all fuddled and confusing anyway. Rest was all he needed, and he'll wake up to continue doing whatever it was he was doing. Relaxing, the darkness that had been around the edges of his mind began to descend, engulfing him comfortingly. Definitely much better than trying to stay awake.

((Sorry it's so uneventful, just posting to let everyone know I'm still here xD))
The Hobbit

"Where did you go to, if I may ask?" said Thorin to Gandolf as they rode along.
"To look ahead," said he.
"And what brought you back in the nick of time?" "Looking behind,"...

((Sorry for keeping you guys up. My brain is being a lazy potato these days >w>'))

Electra couldn't hide a giggle as Kyeshui joked, poking her muzzle in every tall, thick knot of grass and thicket. For a moment she wondered if the other group, consisting of Nyla, Tetra, Tensu and Metis, had made it out of Crystal Cave unharmed and having completed their mission. Probably have. she guessed, though her daydreaming was cut off by a sneeze as the tip of a blade of grass brushed against her nose.

"Maybe the staircase is just afraid of us?" she suggested jokingly, trotting over to another patch of weaved grass with an expression of curiosity. As she sniffed at it, something rustled, and widening two paws through to see what it was the Electrike blinked to find a Joltik. The fellow Electric-Type let out a squeal of horror and scuttled off, away from where it had been hiding. There was no recent evidence of any other Pokemon after that, and the Electrike guessed it had been trying to hide from the exploration duo. And what a good hiding spot it was, since Joltik was most likely the smallest-sized Pokemon she'd seen.

Trailing back over to the ivory-colored Riolu, Electra shook out her fur. "It's gotta be around here somewhere," she mused, glancing around. "I think. I'm guessing every floor has another staircase-- Oh! I think I found it!" She bounced over to a clump of nettle and fern, a gray shape laying in the center. To her dismay, it was just another rock. "Oh. False alarm..."

As the others were transported back to the Guild, Nyla glanced over to where the knocked-out Seviper was scrunched up in a shallow hole. She stood motionless for a few moments, staring at it cautiously in case it got back up again, ready to duke it out again. But as nothing moved, the Fire-Type let out a sigh of relief and nudged her exploration team badge, which was dangling on a thin flameproof chain, with her snout.
Almost instantly after, she was surrounded by a beam of light that hovered in midair for a moment before it closed in and teleported her back to the Guild as well.

((Sorry for taking so long, been busy with other things considering this is my last week of Summer. School starts on Monday for me.))
((After this post, I will start using Star as a true character as well, so my posts might be a little longer.))

Tetra

The Snivy gave one final sigh of relief as she wiped her forehead, her red eyes gazing at the fallen Scratch Cat in pity. She was still a little shaky after the brawl, and now that she was no longer focused on such exhilerating, and yet terrifying battle, she could feel the soreness of her arm begin to seep in. The Grass Snake rested a hand on her shoulder, moving her leaf green arm in a circular motion. "I'm gonna feel this in the morning.." She hissed in her displeasure.

The Snivy lifted her head in surprise as the others began to teleport, and immediately shielded her eyes from such blinding light that swallowed them.

W-Wait a minute...I don't have a badge!

Tetra let out gasp, her hands quickly dancing around her bandana in desperate hope that somehow she had one, but highly doubted the matter as she didn't remember grabbing one. That's when she felt an odd lump in her red leaf bandana, and from inside it, the Snivy pulled out a gleaming, egg shaped object, complete with a pair of tiny wings. ...What luck! Thought she, her ruby eyes gazing in wonder at the shimmering badge. That grumpy parrot must have slipped it in before she had departed!

But her awe would have to wait. With the others having vanished, Tetra couldn't waste anymore time here in the caverns; that Seviper could wake up at any moment now. Performing the same action that her comrades had done, the Snivy raised the badge into the air. Her eyes shut tight, barely holding back the urge to flinch as a shimmering light suddenly began to engulf her.

When her eyes opened again, the look on her face shifted to prominent surprise, with a mixture of relief.
She was back in the guild, those familiar smells and sights having become so appealing to Tetra for the first time in a long while. She still had her arm raised in the air, to which she gazed at for a few moments before finally lowering it to rest, still staring at the badge and it's opulence.

That is, until that familiar squawking broke the Snivy's moment of peace, snapping her back into reality.

"SQUAWK! Unacceptable, absolutely unacceptable!"

Chatot was absolutely furious. Tetra had forgotten that Metis and Nyla had snuck with them on their mission to rescue that missing Shinx cub. She immediately smacked a hand upon her forehead, letting out a small grown in annoyance. "Hey, c'mon, Chatot, cut us some slack here!" She argued, her lip stiffening a bit. "The Shinx was attacked by this huge Seviper! Huge! If it weren't for Metis and Nyla here, I would have been a goner! And Tensu's hurt!"

Her gaze fell to the young cub, who was still in shock from the events that occured.

((I'm so glad I already read the first book to the Hunger Games, otherwise I would of been so mad at you both for giving out spoilers XD))

It was the loud, angry squawking voice that startled the Meowth into awareness. With a start he half-sat up, the sudden rush along with the angry voice bashing against his skull not a good combination for his already aching head. "The Shinx was attacked by this huge Seviper! Huge! If it weren't for Metis and Nyla here, I would have been a goner! And Tensu's hurt!"
"Yeah, because I was also keeping that overgrown worm distracted," he said aloud to the Snivy in his sarcastic tone. "Thanks for mentioning that. You're welcome, by the way."

A chuckle, though weak, passed his lips though his eyes were still cringed shut with the pain. Gingerly he raised a paw to rub at his head, and he added, "Perhaps we can keep the voices down to a minimum? All this racket is giving me a headache." That, and whenever he opened his eyes, everything seemed a little blurry and out of focus. His back was also incredibly sore, and vaguely he remembered what happened to cause that. Everything else was still out of reach.

However, he did realize they were out of the cave and back to the guild. This knowledge made him a bit fidgety, but after the times he already spent here he was beginning to feel more comfortable when no one really realized his true identity.
