((Woot for automatic healing! Too bad Tensu's an exception XD))
The noise behind them gladly became distant, the Meowth just catching bits and pieces about Tetra and Nyla tending to the Shinx, but otherwise focusing on keeping himself standing on his own two feet. "Oh, really?" he said in acknowledgement to Metis's explanation, a light blush beginning to form beneath his fur. "I should remember to thank them properly, then." How exactly he planned on doing that, however, remained unseen. However, the blush was mostly caused by the vixen's voiced concern, but he wasn't about to let that show. "Tch, a tough guy like me will be out in no time," he tried to reassure, answering in a confident tone even if it didn't really sound like it.
The infirmary wasn't something he expected, though what he expected he wasn't sure himself. Chansys were running about the place, he was almost worried about accidentally getting in their way but with Metis's help he was able to make it across alright. The bed's pretty comfy... Tensu thought a bit wistfully, sitting down in the soft hay. It was certainly better than trying to find a tree for the night, half of him even began to ponder about making himself seem to weak that he'll have to spend the night here.
"Hm?" the Meowth raised his gaze at the sudden approach of a Chansy, a rather fast visit considering the other patients here. For a moment Tensu was tongue tied, the sweet, kind voice catching him rather off guard that he held true to the phrase: "Cat got your tongue?" The question was obviously a dumb one, really why else would he be in an infirmary for besides to heal the wound on his head and back? It certainly wasn't for the atmosphere. Still, manners in mind, he wanted to reassure the Chansy he was quite alright but then that strange egg began to glow.
"W-woah woah, what's it doing?" Chikao grew a bit tense, not recognizing this move and had to keep himself from drawing back. The light from the egg had soon moved into a form of it's own, a glowing ball that Tensu couldn't help but be mesmerized by. Though still a bit tensed, he stared in awe as it came toward him, flinching slightly when it enveloped his form. The flinch soon disappeared, however, as the move began taking affect. He suddenly felt a lot better, the strange colors he saw mixed together and dashing were now bright and clear, sounds no longer pounding against his head. His back was also more relaxed and less sore, he could move it now without straining it. His head still hurt a little and his back was a bit numb, but other then that it was almost like nothing happened to him at all.
Rest a bit? Tch, no complaints here! The Meowth thought a bit happily, though he wondered if that meant staying here, or going off to find his own resting spot outside the guild like usual.
"Y'know."
Metis's voice drew him back to reality, his eyes focused on her once more. "I've got to give you credit though. If it hadn't been for you, well..."
"So, uh... Thanks. Just thanks."
Tensu didn't know what to say. It was like the words had somehow paralyzed him, keeping everything still even his tongue. There was no reason why he should be that way, even if it was just out of embarrassment, yet he was. It was because he wasn't embarrassed, but guilty. Always that emotion, it never left him alone. He didn't think it ever would, the guilt would always be in his heart, perhaps sometimes hiding behind a corner just to pop out again unexpectedly. Before it was just easier to deal with, but now here he was speaking to the friend of the Pokemon that he himself had hurt... and she didn't even know! Here she was, thanking the very criminal who had harmed her closest friend and sent him away.
Suddenly Tensu- Chikao, realized he had been silent for a rather long while. How much of his emotion did he show? The welcoming atmosphere was becoming intoxicating, the Scratchcat Pokemon began to fidget in his seat. Lowering his gaze to the ground, he tried getting his tongue to work about, "Y-yeah, it was no problem, don't mention it." Such a lame response! Long pause and that was his best answer? Gritting his teeth, the Meowth hopped off the hay-bed and began to walk past the Vulpix. "I'm sorry, but I think I should go," he said rapidly, making his way to the door. He probably shouldn't, just walking was beginning to put strain back on his back but he had to get out of there; he needed fresh air, to clear his head. He began to feel self conscious, in his mind's eye all of the Pokemon in that room were ones of the past, sending him glaring, death looks. He tried to push them away, to avoid their glances, while continuing to mumble excuses to the vixen. "It's been a long day and I have some things to take care of, you know.." the excuses barely came to his own ears, and finally reaching the door he made to pull it open and make his way to the ladder afterwards, where he'll find his freedom, one he didn't deserve.
((Hope that wasn't too dramatic >.>;
Anyway, left a space open there in case anyone wanted to stop/run into Tensu but otherwise you're likely to see him rushing up the ladder quickly x3))
