Strays of the Ruins. (Stray dog/cat RP, open & accepting)

Teegan watched the pups as she shook her head jealousy seemed to take over his as he grew fond of the male, maybe if he spent times with others he wouldn't become as jealouse as he did besides the pup spent a lot of time with Dusty. Paws steps came closer as she turned her head to see Dusty padding over with the ripped open rabbit carcass as she gave him a nod, perking her ears as he began to speak to Flak, the shepherd remained on her side as she peered around the building.


Micah gave Dusty a smile as he nodded, then picking up the kill and walking towards Flak. The white shepherd lowered herself onto her stomach resting her head on her paws for several minutes as she let out a sigh, flicking her tail. The moon was slowly vanishing as the sound of the waves hitting against the pier could still be heard. Letting out a yawn the female dog lifted to her paws shaking her pelt then padding over to the pier, she lowered onto her hunches at the edge of the pier as she looked down at the waves, a cool breeze blew through her pelt as she let out a sigh. Micah continued to look out at the sea as her fur gently blew in the wind.

  Flak raised his head as the tan male dropped the carcass in front of him. He glanced up at Dusty, raising a questioning eyebrow as the brute spoke. He shot a quick glance over at Xizon and Vicci and rolled his eyes at them for their dumb decision to reject their food offering. "Thanks." He murmured, flashing a friendly smile for once as he pushed himself up to his haunches and placed a paw on the carcass. "You should get some rest, Dusty. We all should. It's been a long day for everyone." He said with a nod, flicking his ears forward. "Tomorrow we'll head out. We could probably go down to the shore, there's usually some easy pickings there." He raised his voice, turning his head to address everyone, then giving another nod at Dusty.



   



   "Alright!!" Gavroche barked, sprinting in happy circles as Dusty agreed to take him hunting. He stopped in his tracks, tail still wagging as he watched the male walk over to Flak. Springing off his hind paws, he leaped over to Teegan, skidding on his paw pads to try and stop his fast momentum before running into the shepherd's side. Hopping back to his feet, he shook out his golden brown pelt and stared up at the fae, grinning.

Teegans ears perked as the brute spoke as she gave a nod of her head giving him a smile then lowering her head onto her paws she closed her eye lids. A thud shot up her side as her eyes shot open a snarl rumbled up her throat and escaped her maw. Turning her head she realized it was the pup "Watch it" she muttered giving the pup a quick smile then turning her head and resting it on her paws. Her fluffy tail dragged back and forth across the ground, her eyes still open as they paced about the room.


Micah still remained seated at the edge of the pier she heard Flak speak about them going to sleep but she decided to ignore it and stay outside a little longer. The winds began to whistle causing her ears to perk up staying alert incase something sneaked up behind her. A yawn escaped her maw as her eye lids began to cover her chocolate optics, forcing her eyes back open she peered around.

Dusty nodded to Flak's command, and for once he didn't say anything about being bossed around. He was tired, and there was no use in complaining. He turned and glanced around for a moment, before padding over beside the wall and flopping down beside it. He was going to check on Micah, but he decided that if he did, the pup might fuss more about it, and he didn't want to ruin his connection, or friendship with Gavroche. His ears swiveled his ears towards Risto, a little annoyed at the feline's soft snores. Sighing, he tucked his muzzle underneath his paw and closed his eyes, his energy drained out of him.

         Flak let out a small sigh as he finished eating the rest of the carcass, shoving the remains away with his paw. Licking some blood off his muzzle, he yawned and returned to his spot near the wall. He allowed his forepaws to slide out from under him as he lay down with a tired huff, his left side pressed up against the crumbling wall. He rested his head between his paws and shot one last glance around before slowly drifting into a light, uneasy sleep.

           


         Gavroche's ears flattened against his head as Teegan growled at him and he backed up a little, lightening up once she flashed a smile afterward. "Hehe, sorry." A cheesy grin appeared on his face and he wagged his tail awkwardly before bounding away. His steps soon slowed as exhaustion finally set in on his tiny body from the long day of excitement. Dragging his paws, he let out a long yawn and plopped down next to Dusty, curling into a ball and cuddling his side up to the tan dog's side. Thinking nothing of it, he contently flickered his eyes closed and was asleep in no time.

Dusty's eyes flickered opened as he felt something press against his pelt, and he noticed that Gavroche had curled up next to him. The soft breathing told him that the pup was asleep, so he shifted sightly so that he wouldn't wake up the pup. His gaze searched around the building, and he saw that Micah was still awake, lying down and watching the sky. He relaxed and rested his head between his front paws, closing his eyes once more for sleep to come. ((I guess we wait for Crystwolf (spelling?) to post now or something. :|))

"Yes!" Vicci hissed in triumph, her words slightly muffled by the dead body of a large, plump bird in her mouth. She turned around and walked back to her friend, tail held high as she smiled. Her smile dropped however, when she saw the Coolie. "Woah, how'd you get that?" She asked, gesturing to the limp body of a giant rat that sat in between the dog's paws. It was almost bigger than a baby rabbit. "You do know that rats fight back pretty hard." She stated, raising a brow as she followed the canine.


Xizon smirked when she saw the face of the feline. "I have the skills." She merely replied, watching as the white feline pouted. She took the rat in her mouth and turned swiftly, moving towards the building that they were in before. She flicked her ears, glancing back at the dumbfounded cat which was following her.

Teegan looked over at Flak as he pushed the carcass away then giving him a nod as he went to lie down. Her attention turned towards the pup as he apologize "Its fine" she smiled as the pup bounded away, she looked around the building noticing Micah was still outside, the brown shepherd let out a sigh, then looking at Dusty as the small pup lay beside him. She rested her head on her paws as her tail dragged across the ground her eyes slowly fluttering shut, the female shepherd had fallen into a light sleep. 


Micah turned her head to look inside the building and by the looks of things everyone seemed to be sleeping. Letting out a sigh she back up a little from the pier then lowered herself to the ground gently, she put her head on her paws as her tail patted against the ground. She spotted dark shadows down by the shore maybe they were mutants? But they only seemed to be getting a drink, letting out a huff she closed her eyes and drifted into an uneasy sleep, her ears still perked as the sound of the waves calmly rippling up the shore and hitting the pier soflty as a small smile grew across her muzzle.
